of the breakthrough bands featured on this tour will get boosted exposure for a larger fan base and potential recording industry
contacts. Local bands selected to compete at the event include: “The Rise of Science” (12:00); ”Seven Story
Fall” (2:00) and “Love Like This” (3:15). The
Rise of Science Their name conjures a myriad of images in one's mind. Prior to listening to a few of the band's
beautifully crafted melodic songs, one may imagine a math-rock band, or a politico-religious punk band, yet neither giving
an accurate representation of the music. However, upon listening, it becomes clear why the name The Rise of Science became
a suitable choice for these musicians. Whether it be the of organic blend of vocal harmonies, the prog guitars and drums,
or the cinematic strings and intertwined piano, you instantly discover that the members of The Rise of Science have a passion
for making new, interesting music. Every note seems to have a purpose; every articulation thought out. It's passive yet
intricate, depressing yet uplifting; naturally polished. Look out for this band, they might just be your newest obsession.

Story Fall Hailing from Atlanta, GA, unsigned Rock/Alternative act SEVEN STORY FALL has been igniting
a buzz throughout the world. Since originally forming in 2005 when all members were 15, they've learned to take advantage
of every opportunity that's crossed their path. By doing so, they've played alongside some of the world's
largest internationally known acts including: Avenged Sevenfold, Yellowcard, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, and more. Seven
Story Fall's most recent work was recorded at Tree Sound Studios with famed gold record producers Zack Odom & Kenneth
Mount (Cartel, Ludacris, Jimmy Eat World) and has received great praise from fans and music industry guru's alike. The
CD has been a hot selling item at many Hot Topic stores at various malls throughout the U.S. and is quickly making it's
way to stores in Japan. After just one listen, it's easy to see that these youngsters are prepared to make an impact on
the world. Check them out at: www.myspace.com/sevenstoryfallrock Love Like This This breakthrough act rose
from the ashes of former band "Kenotia" which was signed to Sumerian Records and had a record out in the US,
UK, and Japan. The band did national US tours with bands like In This Moment, Kittie, A Skylit Drive, Dance Gavin Dance, Pierce
The Veil, and manymore. Love Like This is a female fronted powerhouse with intricate guitar work and a booming rhythm
section. Check them out at: www.myspace.com/lovelikethis A sweet
musical treat will be served up after the battle of the bands ends, at 4:45 with a special surprise opening act! Then
headliner “The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus” takes to the main stage at 6:00 pm
in a rare, free showcase concert. The Red
Jumpsuit Apparatus Just two years have passed since The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, a group of friends from Middleburg,
Florida who’d grown up together, emerged with their Virgin Records debut, Don’t You Fake It, which spent 62 weeks
on Billboard’s Top 200, going on to sell more than a million copies in the U.S. The platinum-plus single, “Face
Down,” sold 1.5 million digital downloads, has been streamed almost 17 million times on MySpace and has since been retired
after spending 52 weeks on the Top 20 Modern Rock chart (RJA is one of two bands to have done so). Rock radio smash “False
Pretense” and the new wedding/prom standard “Your Guardian Angel” (10.2 million MySpace spins and 455k downloads)
contributed to the album’s total of 50 million MySpace streams, and the band has since sold-out national headline and
festival tour appearances. Their single “Face Down,” is featured in the video game Saints Row 2,
and in the moive Georgia Rule, while “In Fate’s Hands” is featured in Madden NFL ’07, and their
song “False Pretense" is featured in the movie Never Back Down. Music is just one part
of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, though, preferring to use their visibility to promote causes they believe in. The band founded
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Guardian Angel Foundation as an umbrella group to support a wide range of initiatives, including
the fight against domestic violence (the subject of their hit single, “Face Down”), hyperglycemia research, and
their latest project, supporting high school band programs in need of funds. They’ve spoken on Capitol Hill on behalf
of teen suicide prevention and mental health parity, and have even created a clothing line with skateboard legend Tony Hawk,
but still remain under the radar and one of the biggest bands that no one’s heard of. Working with producer Howard Benson
[My Chemical Romance, Daughtry, Less Than Jake, Hoobastank, P.O.D., All-American Rejects, Seether], their new album,
Lonely Road, shows a broader range of what the band is capable of. Featuring the singles “Pen and Paper,”
and “You Better Pray” the album was released on February 3, 2009, as the No. 14 debut in national Billboard
Top 200 album sales, and as the No. 1 Alternative digital album -- making this their highest sales chart position ever. Check
